Pocharam Village (Current Project)

  • Get a School constructed for the children of the Good Samaritan Children’s Home and all the other Children of the village.
  • Get a Home constructed for the children of the Good Samaritan Children’s Home, thus replacing the damaged Home.
  • Get a Playground constructed with swings, slides, etc, goal posts for Football, a Cricket Pitch and a Badminton court.
  • Establish suitable Medical facilities.
  • Provide facilities to train the children and provide opportunities for skill development thereby creating Community leaders.



Letter From Mrs. Swarna (Caretaker at the Home)

The Good Samaritan Children’s home is located at Pocharam Village (Gatkesar, Hyderabad) which was started in the year 2004 with the inspiration of giving a helping hand to the poor and needy children. This Home has 30-orphaned children. In the beginning, we had a roof made of asbestos sheets. But in the year 2007, with the help of friends and well-wishers, we were able to erect some pillars and put the first slab. The further plan for this children’s home is ground floor+2. After the entire construction of this Home, we want to start an English medium school in which we are planning to admit day scholars as well. We plan to take in 200 more children.
